What Makes PIXAR CHARACTERS Different?
Unlike a booster centered on a single movie or franchise, PIXAR CHARACTERS draws from a broad selection of Pixar’s film history. Bushiroad’s official lineup covers 25 works, ranging from the four Toy Story films and A Bug’s Life through Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Cars, Ratatouille, WALL-E, Up, Inside Out, Coco, Soul, Luca, and Luxo Jr.
The set also introduces rarity treatments created specifically around the Pixar theme. Instead of relying only on standard Weiss Schwarz parallel rarities, it adds the unique LUXO and PXR rarity categories, giving collectors additional cards tied directly to Pixar’s visual identity and memorable film moments.
LUXO Rare & Pixar Rare Highlights
At the top of the set’s themed rarity lineup is a single LUXO Rare featuring Luxo Jr., the iconic lamp closely associated with Pixar’s opening identity. The card uses a premium hot-stamped presentation and serves as a distinctive centerpiece for the PIXAR CHARACTERS collection.
The set also includes 18 PXR, or Pixar Rare, card types. These cards focus on memorable scenes from Pixar films and use special logo hot-stamping to distinguish them from the standard versions. Together, LUXO and PXR give this release collector-focused rarities that are unique to its Pixar theme.
Pixar Movies Featured in the Set
PIXAR CHARACTERS brings together characters and scenes from 25 Pixar works, including Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3, Toy Story 4, A Bug’s Life, Monsters, Inc., Monsters University, Finding Nemo, Finding Dory, The Incredibles, Incredibles 2, the Cars trilogy, Ratatouille, WALL-E, Up, Brave, Inside Out, The Good Dinosaur, Coco, Onward, Soul, Luca, and Luxo Jr.
This broad selection makes the booster particularly suitable for collectors who want one Weiss Schwarz set representing multiple generations of Pixar films rather than a single title.
