Description
For me good quality rum falls into two categories; wonderfully herbal, challenging and subversive distillates such as deep aged Rhum Agricole, and full flavoured, relaxed, fruit bombs that are far too easy to quaff – this Panamanian undoubtedly falls into the latter category. One pint please.Easy and approachable in style, this Panama rum delivers masses of ripe yellow fruit, delicate spice and moreish molasses on the nose. The palate delivers more in the way of orange zest and apricot drizzled with acacia honey. This has a delicate complexity and lingering, thought provoking quality. One to ponder over.
